I keep getting questions about ERMI testing, and I can see why there’s so much confusion out there. People are spending hundreds of dollars on these dust tests, making major life decisions based on the results, and frankly, I’m worried about the misinformation floating around.
ERMI testing can be a useful tool, but it’s just a screening test – and I cannot stress this enough. I’ve seen people panic over high scores and I’ve seen others get a false sense of security from low scores. Neither reaction is appropriate without understanding what these tests actually tell us.
In this video, I’ll explain why you should never make buying, selling, or moving decisions based solely on ERMI results. Most importantly, I’ll help you understand when ERMI testing might be helpful and when it’s just a waste of your money. Because before you start testing dust, you need to know where to look – and that starts with a proper visual inspection.
