Do-It-Yourself Air Purifier

June 27, 2016

So much of what people dealing with mold illness have to do is expensive...really expensive!  A high quality air purifier is just one of the components necessary for creating a safe place to live once the immune system has been triggered by mold or other environmental toxins.  Usually you get what you pay for.  My family has invested in one expensive air purifier that is really quiet.  We also have purchased some less expensive models that, while not as quiet, seem to work fairly well also, and cost a lot less.

This box fan and HEPA filter option shared by a University of Michigan Sinus Center Doctor is actually down-right cheap as well as effective, according to many who have tried it.   Click here to learn more.

I have been trying this technique at my house.  The system definitely works.  My first filters are full so they've done their job and I'm ready to replace them!

This is my filter after 3 months!  (Yes we have a dog!)  The filter used to be white.
